A very captivating piece with amazing art and story! The 3D platformer part is difficult because the camera shakes for some reason (maybe it's just my setup), and the controls are tricky, but I really enjoy how the objects in the map are deeply connected to the story.
The sad story and the final conclusion gradually give me a sense of what is coming, but when I actually reach it, my heart almost breaks.
It's a wonderful work, thank you so much, meow~! 🐱
Ahh thank you so much for playing!!! We're really happy you enjoyed it!!! Your feedback is really helpful! Thank you💝💝💝
Thank you too, I really enjoy both Living in a Bubble and Stars!
Especially Stars—I love the characters and story so much, I keep thinking about it even after finishing the game.
This might be a bit of a spoiler and a long message, but please let me share my thoughts!
Pippin and Momo feel so beautifully codependent—despite being total opposites in both personality and color design, they care deeply for each other and stay best friends.
In the real-world school scenes, Pippin doesn't appear visually, but there is a mini-game in the notebook that shows her growth.
Also, hearing classmates talk about boyfriends or going to karaoke after school—it all shows how everyone has grown up since their childhood pretend-play days. But Pippin seems like she can't—or doesn’t want to—grow emotionally, and that came across so clearly and moving.
Because of that, the memories with Momo feel even more heartbreaking.
During the 3D platformer sections, I get the feeling that something must have happened to Momo, and at the grave near the end, it finally clicks.
But looking back, I realize that the crashed car object from earlier already hinted at what had happened.
Even though the ending is sad, this game leaves such a strong impression in my heart.
Thank you so much for creating Stars! 🐾
